In early 2016 I filmed a video for The Global Sourcing Association (then The National Outsourcing Association) about my predictions for outsourcing in 2020. I recently found the video in the archives and was interested to see whether my predictions were right.
Feedback from the network suggests that I was largely right, but what was interesting is how far we still have to go. While we’re on track to achieve the ambition that I had in 2016, many of the same visions could be repeated today for 2025.
